In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to build our first-ever training library while showcasing our people and our unmatched collaborative culture that sets Phillips Outdoor Services apart in the industry. You’ll document our crews in action, capturing the craftsmanship, teamwork, and dedication that defines our company.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop videos that help train, inspire, and communicate our company values effectively – making our processes easy to follow and engaging
- Build and organize a comprehensive library of training materials for ongoing team development
- Film high-quality content in both indoor settings and active outdoor job sites
- Document our crews working on fence, decks, landscape, and irrigation projects, showcasing our quality craftsmanship
- Direct team members to capture authentic moments showcasing our expertise
- Edit footage and add exciting visuals using the Adobe Creative Suite to create polished, educational content
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager to plan, storyboard, and script engaging training videos
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Digital portfolio showcasing video editing, storytelling, and instructional skills (personal or professional)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with video production, editing, storytelling and content creation for TV, YouTube, and social media
- Software Skills: Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite. Specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience using quick editing software for social media (CapCut, Adobe Rush, etc.) a plus
- Equipment Skills: Setup and knowledge operating filming equipment based on project needs including professional cameras, lenses, DJI gimbal, lights, audio, tripods, drones, and iPhone or Android phones.
- Creative Vision: Ability to translate technical processes into easy to follow and engaging training content
- Visual Eye: Keen sense of aesthetics, lighting, and composition for outstanding results
- Independence: Self-motivated while also collaborating effectively with the team
- Organization: Ability to maintain an organized library of projects, content, and media
- Adaptability: Comfortable filming in various environments, including outdoor job sites
